Is it worth it?
While the titan may seem tempting at first glance, high attack and defense ratings, it also has a very high price. The titans major drawback is the mana cost, 150 mana. This will take quite a few stat points which could otherwise be put directly into attack or defense. In most cases, you are better served to spend those points in attack strength and defense strength as the amount of attack / defense returned is greater with the stat points than the titans. Not to mention, the quest does not award a payout in terms of cash. If you have not built up your kingdom, you may want to focus on other quests to earn your money to invest prior to seeking this quest and the titan. There are only two scenarios in which I could see questing for a titan to be worthwhile:
- You already have enough mana.
- Your game strategy focuses on defense and people attacking you, meaning this quest could be valuable for the amount of experience it would render.
Earning Experience:
Pushing aside all of the drawbacks and adding to the benefits of this quest are the experience gains. Up until you are able to do this quest, the best quest for earning experience was the Rescue Princess quest.
- Rescue Princess Quest: 1.5 Experience Points / Mana Point
- Defeat Cloud Giants Quest: 2 Experience Points / Mana Point
In the end, your own judgment for how you would like to run your character will be the determining factor.
