Elite Guards
Upkeep: $500
Attack: 2
Defense: 18
Not purchasable, sells for half value |
This little guy can be yours by earning $20,000 in chips in the poker palace. You can find a link to the poker palace app by visiting the heroes quest page and finding the Play Games of Skill quest. Click the Do Quest button and you will be prompted with a button to install.
The Trick:
Though this may seem daunting to some of you non-poker players (such as myself) it is actually quite easy. You see, you are awarded 2,000 in chips each day you login to the poker palace app. Also, you earn chips by sending out invites to the poker palace app, something like 200 chips / invite, with a 20 friend invite cap per day. That’s $6,000 chips in a day possible and you don’t even have to play poker.
While the stats may not be that impressive, the defense is better than the Angel, and they are cheaper from an upkeep perspective.
Counts as a Merc?
I have seen some debate over the Elite Guard acting as a mercenary, like the mercs you can purchase from the genie. Although I have not tested this myself, a few people have and report that after you receive the merc they noticed an increase in the number of people used in their attacks. This would also mean that you would need to purchase one more of each of your top armies, as you essentially have an extra guild member.
UPDATE: In doing my own research, it does not appear that this unit counts as an additional guild member. If you have proof stating otherwise, comment below and let us all know.

I, gnomies, am currently #1 for Washington state on the Most Wealthy list. I have 27,949,999,744 currently in my vault. This is dwarfed however by the $56,365 M that I have on my character sitting outside of my vault. (go ahead, attack me.. see if you can get some of it) The reason I’m ahead of many of you on the money list is because only the money that has been placed into the vault counts toward the most wealthy list. Also, for those of you that are wondering why you cannot put any more money into your vault, I believe this is a limitation of level. If you look at the most wealthy list it shows “The Destroyer”, Level 503 Rogue with the most money, he also has the highest level.
I hope this helps. Also, if you’re wondering how I made my money, I use the spreadsheet that I have for sale on this blog, it’s cheep, you should try it out. If it’s not for you, use my free calculator to the left of this post.
Good luck and happy hunting!

Only $2.00!
Done. I’ve finally finished creating a user friendly Heroes Spreadsheet. This thing is awesome, in my opinion. Unlike the investment calculator here on this page, it will store your information so all you have to do is update it from time to time. Just save it when you’re done and it will keep all of your info. You do have to have Excel installed in order to open the .xls, or any other program that will allow you to open/edit/save a .xls.
A few of the features:
- Fields that require your information to be entered are highlighted in yellow.
- Hover over tool tips have been created to help you understand the information.
- Validation rules have been set to allow only appropriate information.
- Conditional formatting has also been used to more easily display valuable information.
- ‘If statements’ have been utilized to provide further information and ease of use.
The spreadsheet has two pages.
The Investment Calculator:

And the Armies sheet:

Both will be useful to you as you grow through the levels.
Only 2 bucks
I’ve set up a simple PayPal buy it now button below. Just send $2 and I’ll send you a download link.
