The cost, in my opinion, is well worth it.

Build-A-Lot features two play styles, casual and career. For the purpose of learning, you might think that the career game-style would be best, and you’d probably be right. However, I learn best by doing. This is why I started first with the casual game-style. The casual game-style give you free reign to achieve your goals, allowing you to do whatever is necessary. Unlike the career game-style that gives you specific goals that you must achieve, and specific tools with which to achieve them. I’ll talk more about the two game-styles a little later. Primarily, I wanted to write a Build-A-Lot tips and tricks blog post to let everyone know what the buildings in Build-A-Lot do. While some buildings provide you with passive bonus, others can do multiple things. Build-A-Lot Tips and Tricks: Casual Game-Style

As you might have guessed, the casual game-style is just as it sounds, casual. But don’t think it’s a walk in the park. While it is casual, there is still a requirement.. you just don’t have to reach your goal in a set amount of time. Also, some of the game features aren’t enabled. For instance, your houses don’t get taxed. I don’t know if this is unique to the lower levels or not, however.

In the casual game-style for Build-A-Lot, there are 6 different modes:

River Glen
Money Goal: $1,000,000

Evergreen Park
Money Goal: $2,500,000

Lakeside
Money Goal: $5,000,000

Granite Springs
Money Goal: $10,000,000

Summit Ridge
Money Goal: $25,000,000

Palm Grove
Money Goal: $50,000,000
